Across Alberta, schools and districts are working to establish Collaborative Response Model frameworks, to guide the work of educators and leaders to identify and support the diverse needs of students. Establishing these collaborative structures and processes at the Junior High or Middle School level brings about several challenges and opportunities. Join Lorna Hewson, co-author of the text Envisioning a Collaborative Response Model, as she facilitates a symposium for Junior High school leaders and leadership teams to share their successes and challenges, as well as network with other schools actively engaging in the impactful work of a Collaborative Response Model. All schools attending will be expected to share their school’s current work, as well as pose a challenge for group discussion throughout the day. Come ready to connect and engage in a CRM discussion focused exclusively on a Junior High School leadership audience.
